At the beginning of 2014 I needed something that would keep me busy with photography all the time. It was a time I was making a lot of pictures I was very happy with, but didn't know how the share with other people. Then the idea of turning these photos into a 365-project came into my mind and settled there quite quickly. I called it ZICHT (which translates to SIGHT in English), to represent the way I see my environment and the way I see myself within this world.

A picture everyday, but without any themes or restrictions so my ideas could grow wildly. After half a year there are certain themes visible in the project, objects I like to focus on and that keep coming back for my lens; plants, nature, animals (dead or alive), myself and some dear friends.

The project keeps me busy and chances the way I see the world around me, always searching for a new photo. Sometimes the frustration of not being able to find anything interesting or beautiful to photograph (the lesser photos are also represented a plenty), sometimes the rush of making something beautiful.

Now, half a year into the project, I want to share the pictures in other ways than just digital. So I'm putting mine and my visitors favorite photos up for sale, here in this Etsy shop. I hope you enjoy the pictures and maybe see them hanging in your own home.
